YOU ARE SMART…

BECOME MORE SUCCESSFUL

– become an achiever among your classmates,  friends, family, competitors, peers… I CAN HELP

“On a beautiful late spring afternoon fifteen years ago, two young people graduated from a prestigious institution. They were both ambitious and full of spunk. Recently, they attended their 15th class reunion.

They had much in common. Both were happily married. Both had two children. And both had started their careers strong, moved around a bit and are gainfully employed. They were enjoying the reunion until they found a difference… a BIG difference. One was a manager of a small department making an average salary. The other was the CEO of a company, earning five times as much, and owned millions in stock and stock options. It wasn’t just about the money… it was also about growth, range of responsibilities, position, power, influence, family harmony…

They say comparison is the thief of joy- but we just can’t help ourselves, can we?

When you look at people earning more, living better, leading the kind of life you know that you should be leading, do you wonder, ”Why not me?” or “What did I do wrong?”

I CAN HELP YOU…

Become Smarter & More Successful

more intelligent, smart & successful…. and become an ACHIEVER

REinvent Your Life

set & achieve goals the right way to become an ACHIEVER

THE SMART 80/20 SOLUTION...

Smart solutions use the 80/20 rule and focus on diagnosing and mitigating disablers that matters in your context – business leadership (adding ONLY enablers can become expensive and time-consuming). And, there isn’t one solution for everybody. It needs to be targeted at smaller groups, based on what they need – identifying each individual’s disablers and helping them mitigate them.

For business leaders, I’ve found three types of disablers – from personal experience and extensive research - that can be diagnosed and mitigated (or eliminated) to improve performance quickly:

1. Business and Money-making Reluctance. All leaders in a business need to be business-minded. Really. Think about it. The most effective business leaders have various functional competencies AND are business-minded. On any team, business-mindedness varies across members. Now, if you have individuals who are not business-minded, or your team as a whole is not very business-minded, your business may not perform well. Some individuals have inherent reluctance to be in business and to make money. This can be diagnosed with assessments, and mitigated. That, will therefore, improve your team’s performance.

2. All of us have disablers I call the “Silent Killers of Success” - factors within and around us that prevent our greater success. Some are known, and others unknown. Either way, they inhibit a person’s success. They can be diagnosed with assessments and mitigated.

3. Most people consider themselves smart. ‘Thinking and feeling smart’ (even those without an Ivy League education or an IQ over 130!) brings 15 psychological factors into play - the "Smart People Problems". Each of these factors could either be enablers or disablers, depending on the individual. Assessments can diagnose whether the 15 factors are enablers or disablers for an individual, and disablers can then be mitigated.

ABOUT ME

I have worked in the business for over 30 years and reached several highs and lows. I have two master’s degrees, one from MIT, a business degree, an extensive network, knowledge and skills, extensive travel, experiences, and constant learning….and enjoy teaching and mentoring people.

I’ll tell you what you need (not want) to hear – fluff-free, straight talk.

Like many of you, I’ve had successes and failures in life. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on well-known personal development ‘gurus’ (whom you have probably paid as well!). I had one significant failure that almost bankrupted me. I spent years introspecting, talking to friends, personal development ‘gurus’, and accomplished people to figure out why I had failed. Then, it dawned on me. I realized that I WAS THE OBSTACLE – I was impeding my own success – because of my ‘silent killers of success’. I set out to identify, understand and ‘eliminate’ them. I then realized that millions of others have many of the same ‘silent killers of success’ – even very intelligent, smart, and successful people. I can help you identify some of your ‘silent killers of success’.

I have reinvented myself many times. MONEY magazine, in a two-page spread, called me “The Comeback Kid”  because I’d successfully reinvented myself repeatedly. From experience, and working with dozens of clients, I’ve developed the iCLIMB methodology for REinventing yourself. I can help you REinvent YOURSELF.

After interviewing 120 professionals from 40 countries for a book I’m writing, I reflected on how I became ‘The Comeback Kid’, … and figured out how to ‘become unstoppable’ when faced with uncertainty and setbacks – becoming better whether I had individual successes or failures (antifragile). I can teach you how to BECOME UNSTOPPABLE!

I also figured out how all of us can make more money – by developing a business mindset and business thinking – whether you are an employer, employee or investor. I can teach you how to MAKE MORE MONEY.

I then reflected, researched and figured out why many smart people do not achieve the level of success they expect – and how they can become more successful. I can help many of you smart people figure out WHY you’re not as successful as you could be. I can teach you how to BECOME SMART AND MORE SUCCESSFUL.
